This video, posted online, purports to show protesters in Bahrain throwing petrol bombs and security forces responding with stun grenades and tear gas.

It was taken in Dumistan, a suburb of the western Hamad town, and uploaded to an activist account that has been carrying only content from Dumistan for nine months.

At 0.35, a member of the security forces is seen throwing an object toward the protesters; a bang moments later suggests it was a stun grenade.

At 0.55, protesters are seen lighting and throwing petrol bombs. There are similar scenes at 1.37, after which the security forces respond with tear gas. Some of the most dramatic scenes come at around the 2.15 mark. [Storyful]

This video shows a protest in Al-Qusoor, Homs on Wednesday night in honour of journalists who were killed when a so-called media centre in the Baba Amro neighbourhood was shelled on Feb 22.

This video, uploaded by Syrian activists, purports to show a burning home and car after they were shelled in Baba Amr neighbourhood in Homs. 

The city has been pounded by Syrian government shells for an eighteenth consecutive day on February 20, according to local activists. Activists say President Bashar al-Assad’s forces are closing in on the city for a ground attack as the International Red Cross tries to secure a cease-fire. Activists in Douma, Syria post videos of a Syrian military anti-aircraft vehicle being used in the streets of Douma. 

The vehicle appears to have pictures of Bashar al-Assad pasted on the front next to the guns, which appear to be firing directly at buildings. Al Jazeera cannot independently verify the veracity of Youtube videos. [Storyful]

This video shows a tank firing as Friday prayers take place in the Baba Amr neighborhood of Homs. The prayers can be clearly heard. The first part of the video is unclear, but the tank’s muzzle can be seen near the middle of the image.

At 25 seconds, the image becomes clearer and the tank fires at about one minute. Other gunfire can be heard — and seen in the case of some from the soldiers in the tank’s turret.

The narrator of the video clearly says “Baba Amr” at the beginning. This video was uploaded to the YouTube channel syriapioneer on February 10. The channel exclusively features videos from the Baba Amr neighborhood of Homs. [storyful]

In this short clip, a view of two tanks in the distance is replaced by the very close explosion of a tank shell. As the videographer repeats “Allahu Akbar” (God is the greatest), the sounds of the explosion’s aftermath can be heard through the thick smoke.
